Top FIVE Tips for Bringing Toddlers to Disney World from a Twin Mama You have decided to bring your toddler(s) to Disney World. Congratulations that is SO exciting! There are so many wonderful reasons, and you will remember every magical moment. I am an advocate for traveling with your twins or anyone as soon as possible. I only advise you to be prepared and well-planned. With twins especially a very well-planned vacation is the best way because anything can happen when there are two.  Here are my top FIVE tips from an experienced twin mama! 1. Keep visits to the park short with a lot of breaks. A break is a time to stop and move away from things that can be stimulating. You can find some enjoyable breaks right within each park or in your own hotel room.  Babycare Center. There are Baby Care Centers located in each park. Even if your child isn't technically a baby or even in diapers this can be a great place to use.  In each Baby Care Center, there is a place to f...

Cancun, Mexico

Cancun, Mexico We walked into paradise the moment we stepped on the Hyatt Ziva Cancun property. My whole family was awestruck by the amazing view of the sand and sea. Getting there was a little more of an adventure so let's start at the beginning. Before kids, my husband and I loved to travel. After one kid it was more challenging than the twins came along and challenging became seemingly impossible. I know many people who would want to leave their kids home on a romantic vacation but we saw an opportunity to enjoy family time and one on one time. I started looking for a romantic getaway with the kids. I did some quick resear...

Our First Disney Cruise on the Disney Magic

Image
We just finished our first Disney cruise and it was above and beyond our expectations.  Dale and I have gone on many cruises together and as a family. Disney Cruise Line really does set itself apart from the rest and they are truly magical for the whole family.  The things that made it so special for us were the attention to detail and the customer service from each and every crew member.  Getting There We started our journey with a 6am flight on Easter morning.  We have been burnt too many times from delayed and canceled flights to risk leaving the same day of the cruise. Although we didn’t have to be at the port until Monday morning here we were on Easter. After much debate on how the Easter bunny was going to arrive BEFORE 5AM at the airport! The kids woke up to tote bags full of fun treats and games to play on the airplane. The boys were ecstatic and fully entertained for the short flight.  Embassy Suites New Orleans We arrived in New Orleans and luck...
